OpenClaw Integration with RezeAI Tutorial

This article will guide you through easily integrating RezeAI with OpenClaw using a Custom Provider and an OpenAI-compatible interface.

1. Preparing RezeAI Integration Information

Before starting, please log in to the RezeAI console (international site) (https://www.rezeai.com/admin/token), create and copy your API Key. It is recommended to prepare the following information for later filling:

2. Install OpenClaw

If you haven't installed OpenClaw yet, please open a terminal or PowerShell and execute the following command. OpenClaw recommends using Node 24 (compatible with Node 22 LTS). You can first run node --version to check your current environment.

3. Start the Configuration Wizard

After installation, if there is no automatic configuration startup, run the following command to begin initializing the configuration (this process will configure basic settings such as authentication and gateway):

Note: If you have already initialized it before OpenClaw can be reconfigured simply by running openclaw onboard.

## 4. Selecting and Configuring the Provider

In the CLI interface, note the following specific steps to complete the RezeAI integration:

1. Option: I understand this is personal-by-default and shared/multi-user use requires lock-down. Continue?

- Select yes

2. Option: Onboarding mode

- Select QuickStart

3. **In Model/auth provider**: Select **Custom Provider**.

2. **Enter Base URL**: Enter `https://api.rezeai.com/v1`

*(Note: In case of network fluctuations, you can also replace it with a backup node `https://api.rezeai.com/v1` or `https://api.rezeai.com/v1`)*

3. **Enter API Key**: Directly paste the original key, for example, `sk-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx`.

4. **Select Compatibility Type**: Select **OpenAI-compatible**.

5. **Enter Model ID**: Enter the name of the model you want to call, for example, `gpt-5.4`.

6. **Set Endpoint ID**: Give this configuration an easy-to-remember name, for example, `rezeai-main`, for easy management of multiple nodes in the future.

## 5. Complete Setup and Interaction Testing

Follow the wizard prompts to complete the remaining on-demand configurations (such as enabling channels, installing skills, etc.). If this is your first test, it is recommended to complete a minimal installation.

After configuration, the fastest way to test is to launch the Dashboard for web-based interaction:

Q1: What should I do if I get an API Key authentication failure message?

Check if you accidentally entered Bearer sk-.... Ensure you only enter the raw string starting with sk-.

Check if the Base URL you entered correctly includes the /v1 suffix.

Q2: What if I get a message saying the model is unavailable or cannot be found?

Check if the Model ID you entered is spelled correctly, and if the model is available on the RezeAI platform (not delisted and has sufficient balance).

Q3: What if I encounter a connection timeout or the Dashboard cannot be opened?

Run openclaw gateway status to confirm that the local gateway service is running.

Check if there are any access restrictions on the configured Base URL on your local network.
